TMI

I finally finished a four part project for one of my two classes in my first semester of school (that actually counted) in four years. Aside from the numerous numbers in the previous sentence, I am exhausted. The last time I pulled so many 2 a.m. nights I was in college, drinking, and having a lot more fun than looking up audio visual quotes. Looking back, I think that it worked out to a second job. My budget alone took 10 hours over the course of 24, and even after that it wasn't truly finished. And the clincher? I didn't get a paycheck. Oh, and the second clincher? The teacher extended the due date after a week, only to find out after my head banged on my desk from lack of sleep, and my boss asking me, "Are you okay?" No, I wasn't okay. I was exhausted and fed up. Sick of schlepping my things all over downtown, eating out of a vending machine for dinner (by the way, mini jerky, not so good) and wondering if walking down State St. at 10 p.m. is really that great of an idea. Next week is finals and I am home free until the fall. Not to say I'm not enjoying my course of study, but my brain has been stretched.

Hoping next semester I'll be able to do this better than I have.

Other news, the euro trip is coming along very smoothly. I've decided on about nine days in Spain, coast between Valencia and Barcelona and then going to Germany. Have a cute apartment reserved in Berlin, right by the Spree and that 3 Euro cocktail bar with the wobbly benches and great indian food is calling my name.
