Salt Lake City - Eating & Drinking - Pubs & Bars - Pubs - Microbreweries
With three hours to kill in Salt Lake City airport (and recent non-smoker, ruling out puffing away in the smoking zoos) I decided the best way to spend my time was at the airport bar. I love how much more validation I have when I am in an aiport bar, opposed to a regular bar.
"No, really, I HONESTLY can't do anything else right now. I'm trapped in the airport you see? For two hours? A US Weekly only takes like 20 minutes. It's totally okay to sit here for the duration of my entire layover."
I walked all the terminals of this place (as I had time) and decided this place would be the best luck for non-SLC weak beer and it had a view of the airplanes. Cheesyness was minimal and it was filled. Deal.
As usual went for the Pilsner and it was delish. Had a bit of food too, but don't remember quite what it was...but remember they took all of my super picky changes with an honest smile and jeering, which I also appreciated. Bartender was awesome.
