So, you start playing it and say to yourself, "Why is Christine recommending this total sprockets crap?" Get through the album, then give it another time and soon you will find yourself bopping a little bit, then the third time, "Holy moly, this stuff it catchy." Well, ladies and gents not only is it catchy, it's quite good and so, so, so Germany quirky poppy you'll find yourself bopping to this in your sleep. Play it at a low volume and you've got yourself some nice city and bus music, play it loud and you've got yourself some great dance tunes. This stuff thumps quite proper.
I love the bring ups and the bassline, all flavored nicely with some quirkly lyrics. Something about the way they sing, "Berlin am Meer" (Berlin on the Lake), "Faul" (Lazy) and "Oh, Bauer" (Oh, Farmer) makes me taste pennies. Okay, I know you don't speak German but I swear, give this album a couple runarounds and you'll dig it too. If the Germans could make a musical burrito, this would be the 4 a.m. special. So bad for you yet delicious.
