Note: The spot is in Spring Green, WI...but as usual Qype won't recognize places under 10,000 people! Come on boys, get on this ;)
We didn't stay at the campground, but rented a group of 10 canoes from this place pretty last minute for Labor Day weekend due to another vendor's mess-up. Not only accommodating, their set up for canoe launch and pick-up is top notch. Drop off is right by the car park, minimizing the hauling and packing of your gear and they pick you up the next day and load it all up for you.
Easily accessible, people were super friendly and place is outfitted with plenty of bathrooms for changing, a bar and ice machine. It's like a little camping haven in the middle of Wisconsin (one of many, I'm sure). Set right on the Wisconsin river, it's a great start to any 15 mile float trip! Find yourself a sandbank and set up shop, you'll enjoy it.
