Qype: Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba in Chicago

Chicago

Even though I try to keep away from places that are remotely a chain restaurant, I have to admit that I did like this place and have eaten here twice over the past year.

First bonus point, there is tons of seating and it's always full which translates to happy customers. Make a reservation and is a great place for large groups or for a mixed group of food people.

The tapas were good, not knock your socks off, but good. I'm a particular fan of the garlic potato salad, the cheese plate and the beef with caramelized onions. My last time there I ordered the paella and had to give it big thumbs down...my first time having paella was in Valencia, so I'm likely really over-spoiled in this instance. The rice was mushy and it was extremely oily.

Stick with the tapas and the Sangria and you'll have yourself a nice evening!
