Qype: I Dream of Falafel in Chicago

For a quick lunch not covered in grease, this is definitely the spot. You can get in fast, get your falafel or shawarma and either find a seat at any of their tiny gnome sized tables or take it back to your desk like a true workaholic.

I tried their cucumber salad and it tasted like bitter yogurt, but not in that Mediterranean yummy yogurt way....more like "This yogurt has turned sour and we're going to cover it with spices to try and mask that fact." Don't recommend the cucumber salad, but the shawarma was good with a nice blend of spice -- topped with hummus and you've got way better than a Big Mac next door.
