Qype: Hyatt Regency Cleveland at the Arcade in Cleveland

Cleveland - Hotels & Holidays - Hotels

I stayed here two nights for a wedding and was very pleased with the quality and comfort of the hotel. The inner Arcade rooms are really interesting as the outside makes you feel like you're in the 20's, but the interiors are extremely nice and modern. The "tower" rooms are definitely more modern, but there is no different in quality between the two types of rooms. If you get the arcade rooms, request a room away from the outside parking garage -- my friend complained of cars honking and alarms going off all evening.

Beds were very comfortable (I was also on Bridesmaid duty, so probably could have passed out on a concrete bench by the end of both evenings) and the showers were gigantic and great water pressure. Hotel staff was friendly, extremely accomodating to myself and the rest of the wedding party.

I got a peek at the Penthouse room and even though it's kind of glam with your private staircase, I wasn't as impressed as I was hoping. There was also a slight cigarette/mildew smell in the air or carpet that hit you right when you walked in.

Overall, quality hotel in downtown Cleveland...worth the $200+ a night? Well, not so sure about that but considering your options I would pay the extra to stay here.
