Chicago - Eating & Drinking - Restaurants - Japanese & Sushi
The quality of the fish is excellent - quite possibly the best I've had, although I was a little disappointed with the piece sizes? Even after going through 3 rolls and 2 pieces each...my friend and I were both were pretty hungry and the thought of stopping by Cleo's for a wing or two afterwards was definitely not out of the cards. Apparently, their sushi is already infused with soy...and asking for it made me feel like a criminal.
Service was friendly, but could tell it had been a long weekend and I know my inability to choose something was likely annoying for her. I really like the tea though, it was served really creatively and tasted amazing.
I guess at the end of the day, I like a sushi place that's a bit more casual(although still clean, with good fish) where I can order a bunch of rolls, not break the bank, and walk home waddling with Tuna bits in my belly.
I have to draw a line between fancy-schmancy and all-you-can-eat....and this place is just below the fancy-schmancy sprectrum...but a little to much for my sushi habit.
