Qype: Ale House at Amato's in Denver

Denver - Eating & Drinking - Pubs & Bars - Pubs - Microbreweries

This place is dope. Super, super dope. I love the beer slection, I love the view, I love the patio. Everything about this place made me extremely happy. View of the city is amazing and serves the purpose for a casual date night to a crowd of friends getting together. I saw both coexisting quite well here.

Only small complaint is the corned beef sandwich I ordered was pretty dry and the mustard that came with it was pretty nasty, fries good. But, I think it was just a case of me not liking the mustard and I need to order something else some time. Friends got the "Deconstructed Pot Pie" (don't know if it's actually called that, or if they made that up) that looked absolutely amazing and is on the to-do list for the next time I hit this place up.

Service was friendly and surprisingly fast for Denver, I think we all know what I'm referring to.

As a Chicagoan stopping into Denver for the weekend, a spot like this really let's you see that even though it's small - you can still get your city vibe without struggling for it.
