Garland's has an EXCELLENT selection of handcrafted jewelry local to the area. Now, it's not all just belt buckles and giant beaded necklaces. They also have an amazing collection of local artists for varying tastes from your authentic native american feel, amber and stone pieces from intrinsic to simple and even an impressive collection of men's pieces.
After a year-long search, I finally found the bracelet I had been looking for. (To replace a $5 version from Forever 21.) Upon walking into the store, I immediately made a bee-line, buckled at the knees and said, "There it is." I was completely surprised to find the bracelet of my dreams in this store (also, big thanks to the friend who drove BACK to the place after we had passed it going back into town.)
They also had a selection of decently priced antique pieces and my friend found some lovely pins and charms as gifts and a couple for herself. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. If you find yourself in Sedona, even to just go browse (they are perfectly comfortable with this, no pressure place) I recommend a stop-in!
