Scottsdale - Eating & Drinking - Restaurants - Other Asian - Korean
After a long day of jewelry shopping (my girl and I weren't exactly the hiking team that day since it was just a day-trip), she spotted this place from the road and we decided to give it a try.
Now, I'm definitely not a fan of Korean food (or Thai food for that matter) and I was a little nervous. It took me a while to find something that didn't look too weird and wasn't going to be covered in some sauce made from fish. Fish sauce and bean pastes in general, freak me out.
BUT! Alas! I found a dish that was simple, full of vegetables and lovely brown rice. Excellent meal for the price, service was friendly. The "gift shop" was quite an entertaining corner...complete with a "Brain Wave" device. Sedona was a bit far out for me but this place gave me a well needed hot meal and they didn't try to read my Chakra. Bonus.
